♥ Haul: Beauty Products ♥

So here's a few things i have got over the past couple of weeks.....

I always have one or two high end foundations (as I think you always need a decent one) and then a few more lower end foundations. I recently came to the end with my MAC Studio Fix Fluid, which i loved, but i wanted to try something new. I got the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20 Beige. I have seen people rave about this on YouTube, specially Fleur De Force who's videos i love, so i thought i would give it a try.

I have to say i LOVE this foundation. It gives you a really soft/flawless look and i think i love it more than the Mac one. So Fleur was right, its amazing! I will be purchasing this again.

I had some vouchers for House of Fraser which i got for Christmas and my birthday and i had no idea what to use them on until i heard about the new Benefit Skin care range.

I was able to get two products. As i have dry skin i thought i would get the Refined Finish facial polish, an exfoliator and the Triple Performing facial emulsion, (sounds like paint with the word emulsion in it, don't you think?!)a hydrating facial cream. I don't know if it is just House of Fraser but they offer you the chance to take the products after 29 days if you are not satisfied with it or if they are simply not working for you. I think this is great as they wont work on everyone.

I have tried both of them and oooo my, my skin was so soft, i don't think i have felt it that soft! You can only use the facial polish 1-2 times a week as it is quite rough and you don't want to cause redness on your skin, but it works a treat. The cream is lush, you put it on in the morning and it feels really refreshing. They both smell amazing and would highly recommend for you try them out! I will be purchasing the other products from this range as I am very impressed. They also look fab on the dressing table because of the retro packaging.

As i purchased 2 products i got a free eye shadow! result! I wore it out at the weekend, its lush!

I have never tried Soap & Glory and as boots had a 3 for 2 offer i thought i would try a few products. I also got some off ASOS as they had a sale.
From ASOS i got the Hocus Focus, which is a 'instant visual flaw softening lotion'. It can be used as a highlighter on your cheekbone, mixed in with your moisturizer to brighten your skin and put in your foundation. I used this on my cheekbone when i went out and it gave a gorgeous dewy look. It has a pearly, pink/gold look to it, very pretty.

I got the Butter Suite which came with 3 full size moisturizers, Butter up, Righteous Butter and Daily smooth, all for dry skin, which is perfect for me as my skin can get really dry. It was on offer for £8 - something which i thought was a bargain as the pots themselves can be much that individually. They all smell delicious and make your skin feel silky smooth.

From boots I got Bright Here Bright Now Radiance Energy Balm which is firming and will brighten and illuminate the skin when it looks dull. I have tried it once and it did brighten the skin up and it does feel firming. I also got Feel Good Factor which is a daily moisture lotion for the face and has a sun trigger in it, so next time the suns out i will be trying this, it has a SPF 25 so this will protect the skin. Both these creams can be used with your make-up on top or under.

The last item is You Won't Believe Your Eyes to de puff and brighten tired eyes. I seem to always get bags under my eyes so i love trying out eye products to calm those bags down! This does reduce the bags but and leaves a purple/blue shine, so rub it in well or it looks really strange! I love the retro packaging on these products too, its so Pin-Up.

If you can recommend any products from the Soap & Glory range you think i will love, please let me know.

The Tree for two offer is still on at boots and seems to be on all beauty products, so its worth going to have a look.

  1. Oh I desperately want to invest in a Chanel foundation, I've heard such good things about them. I love it when you get freebies for purchasing things and that eye shadow looks a gorgeous shade! x
